Funny Theme Park Fails
Theme park fails are a hilarious source of amusement and entertainment. From the guests’ perspective, it is usually an embarrassing and hilarious ordeal to witness. From the theme park attendants’ perspective, it can often be a frustrating and dangerous situation that needs to be addressed quickly and responsibly. The following are just a few examples of some of the funniest theme park fails in recent years.
In one amusing fail, roller coaster enthusiasts queuing up for Big Thunder Mountain Railroad at Disneyland Paris in 2013 instead found themselves plummeting down into a pool full of water! Evidently, one rider fell from their seat while entering onto the ride which caused the rest of them to be ejected from their carts as well. All passengers were safely rescued and miraculously uninjured despite their unexpected dip in the pool below!
Meanwhile, Six Flags Magic Mountain in California suffered yet another embarrassing incident when two women riding Revolution suddenly became entrapped by their safety harnesses back in 2008. These determined ladies managed to break free after nearly 20 minutes but onlookers noted that they seemed quite agitated for having missed so much of the attraction due to being weighed down by all that extra leather!
Perhaps one of the most noteworthy theme park fails occurred at Walt Disney World’s Hollywood Studios back in 2014 when guests got stuck upside down halfway around Rock n Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith. Evidently, technical difficulties caused parts of this wild ride to malfunction which left passengers hanging upside down with no quick way out. Firefighters eventually arrived on scene with specialized equipment and managed to rescue everyone without any injuries reported!
In 2003, SeaWorld Orlando had a somewhat embarrassing episode when one of their resident killer whales became a bit too friendly with visitors during a show. When “Kasatka” surfaced from her pool, she suddenly grabbed onto an unsuspecting audience member’s foot with her mouth before letting go and diving back into the depths! Thankfully no one was hurt, but it was certainly an amusing sight for those watching from above.
Animal-related antics are common occurrence at zoos and aquariums around the world, but perhaps none were quite as comical as what happened at London Zoo in 2014. A group of rambunctious monkeys managed to escape their enclosure by using tree branches as makeshift ladders to scale up and over the tall walls! While they were eventually rounded up after several hours on the loose, it certainly made for some entertaining news footage that day!
No matter whether they’re humorous or humbling incidents, these theme park fails serve as reminders that there’s always something lurking around the corner waiting for us — even if we are having fun! From unexpected animal encounters to deadly mechanical malfunctions; we should take every precaution necessary when visiting amusement parks just in case something unexpected happens along our way.
